Austin PDJ Meeting 11/1 @ 6 p.m.

This meeting is to help us strategize and organize for the upcoming year. 

Open invitation.

The physical meeting will be held at my home…please contact me or any of the Austin folks for the address/directions.

    Free program for video chats.  Once you register, look for our username and place a call to us to join.  Multiple folks can video chat at one time.

3.  GoogleDocs (live collaborations with documents)
    An invitation will be sent to the Organizing Council listserv.  If you’re interested but you’re NOT on the Organizing Council listserv please contact one of us with your email so that the invite can be sent. 
    Everyone on the organizing council can also invite folks directly.
   
We are inviting collaboration from folks across the state.  If there is another mode of communication that would work for you, please let us know.

At this point folks are free to bring to the table any and every thing they can think of...the intent is to write it all down, sort it into categories and possibly see if we can come up with a plan of action.  It would also be good to determine these based on the experiences that Jose can share from other councils.

Y tambien, the GoogleDoc will allow you to add your comments to any thing that is written down...so it's open for collaboration right now, during the meeting, and afterward...

cool.  okay.  right now i'm planning on scheduling a meeting in eagle pass, tx sometime late december or early january.  if anyone would like to join me, let me know.  i can report back after this meeting and include contacts of people who will be helping with the run in eagle pass.

 

it would be good to coordinate gathering of waters throughout rivers in texas and start making a list of contacts per town/city runners will be passing through.
