Just a heads up.  

There is a campaign to bring focus on the devastating position that Republican Senator from Tejas impacting negatively on Raza issues.

His refusal to support Dream Act activists in passing or implementation of reforms that will allow undocumented students to be accepted into college or the armed forces as a path to getting citizenship.  If they go to college and pass successfully, not only do they pay instate tuition, but allows temporary status as citizens until the legislature will make this a permanent phase into citizenship.

He is also taking a stand against bringing Immigration reform for millions of undocumented workers that suffer ice raid into their work sites, encarcerating and feeding the private prison system but devastating families by breaking them apart.

He has taken retroactive stands against Democratic Reforms such as the Affordable Health Care brought into legislation by the Obama Administration.

Where:  1919 Smith Street, at the Mickey Leeland Federal Building.

Time:  at 11am til 12:30pm.
