Dear Members of the Texas Archivematica Users Group:

We are excited to officially announce that the Texas Archivematica Users Group will be holding its first in-person meeting following the Texas Conference on Digital Libraries--Thursday, May 25th, 2:30pm-4pm; Commons Learning Center; Austin, TX!

The Steering Committee of the TX Archivematica Users Group is looking for group members who would be willing to present briefly at the meeting on how their institution is currently working with Archivematica. Information for this presentation might include results of testing, newly developed workflows, challenges and solutions, or other topics that relate to your testing/use of Archivematica. Please fill out this brief form to indicate your willingness to provide an update/present on your institution’s work, so we can start to think about scheduling.  Please remember that any update is useful---some may be further along than others, and that is okay!  It is useful to hear about all the stages of implementing the system.

Additionally, we will be conducting various unconference and/or discussion activities and are looking for members to submit questions they would like to submit for group discussion.  You can submit questions here.

The meeting will also include a virtual update from Artefactual on the latest Archivematica news and a brief business meeting portion regarding the user group charter.

We hope you will be able to actively participate---it will be a great opportunity to share and learn from each other!

Best regards,

The Texas Archivematica Users Group Steering Committee
