Welcome to the community discussion list of A-TEX, the Texas Archivematica Users Group!
Along with our Google drive, this discussion list is provided as a group resource and community forum for Texas users of the Archivematica digital preservation system. It is intended to be a friendly and informal medium for peers to discuss Archivematica and share use cases, presentations, documentation, workflows, updates, etc. Anyone who is investigating, implementing, or managing an Archivematica instance for their institution is invited to share experiences, seek feedback, and participate in group meetings, whether those be virtual or in person. It is the Group’s hope that this forum enables members to communicate among themselves, to better utilize Archivematica, as well as benefit from the knowledge and experience of others. Documents from past meetings as well as information shared by group members can be found in the group's Google Drive.
Unlike the official Archivematica Community Discussion List, however, this site was not created to provide technical support, report issues, or answer complex questions about system configurations. Any technical inquiries should be directed to professionals on the official Archivematica discussion list.
