That's OK, I came up with a solution.
In case anybody else wants to do it, here it is:
Create a new BBCode tag called math.
In the BBCode Usage box type: [math]{TEXT}[/math]
In the HTML Replacement box type: <img src="
http://www.codecogs.com/gif.latex? {TEXT}" alt="{TEXT}" />
Then select Display On Posting Page and click the Submit button.
And that's it. On the posting page there will now appear a button labeled
"math" that will provide the BBCode tags and in the actual thread of the
post will replace it with an image generated by the Codecogs LaTeX engine.
