Problem with data box

Hi;
I'm using TETRAD V and I'm facing problem with data box.
Only Tabular Data Set works.I need to write the data as correlation matrix.
Could you please help me?

I'm not sure; it works for me. Perhaps your format is wrong; I'm attaching a covariance matrix in the format that Tetrad accepts. The variable names and sample size must be declared. Only the lower triangle of the matrix need be given. Have you done all that?

Thanks for answering my question.
My data is in the appropriate format (.txt)
I click on data box, then "data Wrapper", then"load data" and I choose my file..
The data can't be loaded.
Is it wrong what I did?

Send us your data file and we will check it. We will destroy it after investigating
the difficulty.

Try removing the first column that lists the variable names. Insert the sample size
on the first line before the columns.

Did you tell the program in the data inteface that the data is "tab delimited" (is
it?) and did you check that it is a positive definite matrix.

Actually, I entered the data one by one..But how to tell Tetrad that the data is correlation matrix?

Tetrad won't do it, but for your matrix I believe you can check by hand with this:
Let A be the symmetric (not the lower triangular) matrix. A is positive-definite if
all the diagonal entries are positive, and each diagonal entry is greater than the
sum of the absolute values of all other entries in the corresponding row/column.

I just closed version 5.2.1-3 and re-opened it; this caused it to download again. I placed a Data box on the workbench. I double clicked the Data box and from the File menu selected Load Data. I selected your file, Data.txt. Under Regular, I selected Covariance matrix, clicked Load Data, and Save. Success.
Is this what you did? If not, what did you do?

The problem was that I didn't select covariance matrix ..
