The script to install tethys is closing the terminal before it finishes (I guess). I can activate the tethys environment but I cannot start tethys (tms, tstart, etc don't work). Any suggestions?

I'm guessing that there was an error while running the script. Did you run it with the bash command (bash install_tethys.sh ...) or by sourcing the file (source install_tethys.sh ... or . install_tethys.sh ...)? If you source the file then if there is an error it will close the terminal. If you execute it with the bash command then it should close the terminal and you can see where it got to. You may also want to try using the -x option to see the commands that are being executed.

If it is Windows you might add a "pause" command at the end of the install_tethys.bat file so that it doesn't close the command window when it finishes.  This would allow you to check for error messages.
