I propose that we adopt an updated and expanded governing document which I will call the Tethys Platform By-laws. The amendments made here add clarity to various aspects of Tethys Platform governance, specifically on terms of project steering committee members and the procedures for voting on a candidate for a new term. Furthermore, this amendments are proposed to how code changes are proposed and accepted.
As per the current governing document an amendment to the governing document must receive a 2/3 vote from the current PSC members. While only the PSC members votes count, anyone is allowed to comment on and express their opinions of the proposed changes.
