I'm trying to create a GeoTiff layer in geoserver using the 'create_coverage_resource' function from the 'spatial_dataset_engine" (attached code.png) but I keep getting an internal server error (attached error.png file). How can I avoid this issue?

I'm also attaching the GeoTIFF file.

It may be a problem with your projection or a lack of it. See: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Unable-to-publish-GeoTiff-images-on-GeoServer-td4558056.html.

and parse through the results to see if there are any useful ideas.

Good luck!

What are you uploading exactly? I believe you need to upload a zip archive containing the GeoTiff image and the projection file for it to work. Curtis encountered some problems with GeoTiff files at NFIE. I don't recall how we were able to resolve the issue, but he may be of help.

It is working now. I'm using 'worldimage' as a coverage type instead of 'geotiff'
