Hi,

One of our new students was trying to create an account and he noticed that when he clicked signed up it took him to the log in page instead so he couldn't create a new account. I ended up creating his account through the admin, but for now people can not create new accounts on their own because of this. Can someone with 1.3.3 test this to see if it is a global bug or if it is a problem on our end?

Thanks,
Michael

A new setting was added recently:

# Use this setting to disable open account signup
ENABLE_OPEN_SIGNUP = False

The default is False meaning that anybody can't just go and signup for an account. If you've recently re-generated your settings file then it's possible that this setting is still set to False.

Can you verify the value of that setting in your settings.py? If it is set to True then there may be a bug that we need to look into.
