Click event is not captured

Hi every one,

I an new to testwise and trying to learn the application with the documentation which is available on testwise site.

Tried to follow the steps given on PHP application

I was trying to record scenario using testwise recorder for PHP application ... When click on button search button.. the event is not captured.. 

Why so? and how should I deal with this situation.

Hi, 

I strong recommend users of TestWise treating the recorder as a helper tool, in other words, automation testers are comfortable writing maintainable test scripts without using recorders. With that in mind, the recorders are useful. 

Back to your question, try again after restarting Firefox and enable TestWise recorder. If this is a public site, you can raise an issue at https://github.com/zhimin/testwise-recorder with the url. 

For testers are are new and trying to write Watir/Selenium test scripts with TestWise, I recommend trying the exercises in the first half of this ebook (the first 7 chapters are free, click the 'Download sample PDF')
