Dear wise testers,

I am pleased to announce the release of TestWise 3. Feature highlights include: Support RSpec 2, Watir-WebDriver, test debugging for Selenium and Watir, and better support for Cucumber.

Our free CI Server BuildWise and project management tool StoryWise have also got updated.

Besides software, we have been looking for better ways to help master test automation and CI.
  • We are remaking our screencasts and make them available on YouTube:   https://www.youtube.com/user/TestWisely. We listened to your feedback: new screencasts now with audio.
  • AdminWise, our sample Web 2.0 app, is rewritten using Twitter Bootstrap framework.  You can find 8 sample test projects with ready-to-run automated test scripts in combinations of Selenium, Watir and RSpec, Cucumber.

For customers seeking commercial support of open-source testing frameworks such as Selenium, Watir, RSpec and Cucumber, we now offer you Wise Support:  test automation & CI mentoring service.  Wise testers deserve wise support.

LoadWise

Lastly, I am introducing a new member of our tool suite: LoadWise.  Load testing tools are known expensive and complex to set up and use, LoadWise is going to change that view. LoadWise makes creating/running performance and load testing as easy as it can be. In fact, if you are writing functional tests in RWebSpec, your functional tests can be converted to load test scripts with only small changes.  Seeing is believing, check this screencast
  • Preview load test script execution in Browser (IE)
  • Run performance tests
  • Run load testing, simulating 6 users accessing the site concurrently
LoadWise with up to 25 Virtual Users pack comes free with each TestWise Floating Licence. 3 Virtual Users Pack is free and is available for download today.

Cheers,
Zhimin
