Archos 5 Internet Tablet

[Archos Newbie]

Has anyone successfully installed and used the Test Tube app on an
Archos 5 that runs Android v 1.6? I apologize if I missed something in
one of the topics, but I have only seen discussions regarding which
"Phones" work with Test Tube.

Yes and it works great.  Had to download it to my phone first then moved it to the archos.

You'll have to get the apk from a rooted device and then you can transfer to the archos.  It installs like any other apk then enter settings. Enjoy.

way to just download the file (APK ???) onto my PC and just transfer
it to the proper folder on the Archos?

I think you can just download it from the market on your Archos
tablet. That's what the last update was supposed to fix. Let me know
if that's not the case.
