select an item from an open window

Helo,

How can i select an item from an open window from my application,I open my main window,then I click a button that pops up another windows and I must select a file and open it.I need help on the selecting part.

Rather than using UI automation to navigate a file explorer - you should typically just send the full path of the file you intend to open.
Unless that's not what you are trying to do - then more info is needed.

Is the OpenFileDialog another window? (for 3rd party UI tools it might be different)
