oh duh, I thought that was already turned on. OK, I turned on
moderation for new member posts. Let's see if Google Groups can fix
its spam filters. It does seem that spam in general has lessened in
Google Groups. Now, if only spam comments sent to my blog would
lessen.

oh I just figured no one tests Ajax ;)

Man I am so lazy that I mainly stop at writing an automated javascript
lint checker for sites with one or two jquery snippets. If anyone has
good advice for a low barrier way to set up scaffolding for testing
sites with small snippets of jquery then please share (in another
thread).
