Apple Card is a credit card created by Apple and designed to help you lead a healthier financial life. You can sign up for Apple Card on iPad in minutes and start using it with Apple Pay right away in stores, in apps, or online worldwide. Apple Card gives you easy-to-understand, real-time views of your latest transactions and balance, and Apple Card support is available anytime by simply sending a text from Messages.

In apps, on the web, or over the phone: Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay, tap Apple Card, then tap Card Information to see the card number, expiration date, and security code. Use this information to make your purchase.

I would like to use the better screen of my iPad Pro (2nd Gen) for culling (a bit like what Fastrawviewer or Photo Mechanic can do) while on the go to free space on my SD cards and make use of my idle time out.

Caution: immediately after deleting 2 pictures on the SD card with the iPad, my camera saw them as "unreadable" and became extremely slow when reading other pictures. Therefore, and to stay on the safe side, I will not use the iPad to cull pictures on the SD card.

However, I would be careful not to edit and resave images on card and then putting the card back in camera again. iOS can really mess up external storage. I usually format the card in camera after a visit to the ipad.

Thanks. I tried Filebrowser (Go, the trial version), activated Raw and HD options and got the same result as zooming in Files App or Lightroom import. So far my preferred one is Files App (already installed and keep the view zoomed in). But as you said and I experienced, I now prefer not to cull the SD card directly from the iPad as it can/will mess the SD card!

Still, I love the idea to cull (+learn&improve) with the iPad while on the go. A solution might be to import to the iPad, cull the raws there (I need to zoom at 100% to check critical sharpness), export the selected raws to a another SD card/storage, empty the iPad... and repeat (a way to solve the small space available on my iPad).

If shooting raw+jpeg which I always do, I can then select which file to save back to the other card for import. Otherwise both raw+jpeg files will be imported to Photos which is very unneccessary. I do almost all editing on the iPad btw.

There are Raw Power, one time purchase, with the ability for browsing, rating, than filtering and send originals in photos, directly in iOS files app. Yet you have to copy the content of sd card in one folder from files first. Which is better I think. Problem is if your iPad had only four gb of ram you will be able to send only five images in batch to photos. You should give it a try.

Curious to know if anyone has any updates on viewing/culling/deleting files from a memory card on the iPad (without importing the files). One user here mentioned Raw Power ($9.99) as one app that might work. Any other additional suggestions? Thanks!

My app (optionally) allows the culling to take place on the SD card and then only the selected images are exported to either the iPad, Apple Photos, another device via AirDrop or an external SSD (requires a hub).

I had to use a non-US sim card for an overseas trip with my wife's new iPad 3. On return, after I removed the temporary sim, I was tired and I absentmindely put the US sim back in the iPad without putting it in the sim tray first.

So now I have a sim card stuck in the iPad with no tray. I tried to get it out myself, even buying micro tweezers, to no avail. It is a VERY tight space. I took it to the Apple Store, and was told that they could not get it out. They suggested going to a third party repair shop (interesting . . . .), and said that they only thing that they could do was exchange the iPad for a new one for half the cost of buying the new one. I was surprised the Apple did not offer ANY repair service if you did not have their AppleCare insurance (I did not get it since the sales rep said that the cost of getting glass replace was $150 without it, and the cost of AppleCare was $99, plus a $49 charge for glass if that broke - I had no idea that they simply do not do most other repairs).

I am at my wits end. I really do not feel like spending several hundred dollars on a 10 day old iPad to get a stuck sim card out, but it seems like the only other way is to take the thing apart which would be both tricky and void the warranty.

Did same thing. You have nothing to loose by trying this. Heat up the end of a small safety pin (after straightening the pointy end out) and carefully touch the end of the hot tip of safety pin to the plastic of the sim card. Let it sit for a bit as it lightly welds to the plastic. Then pull it out. Lightly sand the plastic of the sim card with a nail file if you get a "pimple" on the end. Sounds drastic but it beats replacing the iPad. Oh well. Can't believe I was that silly to insert in the first place. Stuff happens.

The micro-SIM card slot with the iPad is the same as the micro-SIM card slot with the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, so this suggested repair place that only messes with iPhones shouldn't make any difference in this regard unless there is no other option besides taking the iPad apart. The same has probably happened with an iPhone 4 or 4S and maybe this repair place has some experience with this without having to take the device apart.

Anyway, the problem is that the cell phone folks take the phone apart to get to the Sim card if it is stuck, but apparently it is MUCH more complicated to take an iPad apart. I may have to bite the bullet, but that is where I am.

Yes it does, but there would not be any repair. The iPad would be exchanged under warranty. If you had the AppleCare extended warranty, they would not have taken your iPad to the back to be taken apart to remove the SIM card. Having or not having the AppleCare extended warranty makes no difference in this regard.

My iPad 2 won't take my debit card! Why is that? My debit card is valid and active, but when I try to get a free app it wont register my debit card. Someone please help because I can't update my iPad... sob... sob...

Actually I have been using my debit card earlier last year. I switched to another debit card and that one worked too. Also I read yesterday that some lady said that you must have money on the card, or it won't work. I'm going with that. I will add money to my card and see if it works.

Debit cards work fine. Go to the apple store, ( on a Coomputer it is a little easier). Log into your account and look and see what the payment method it set to. Try to change it to your new card there. Be real carefull with the addres and zip and security code, as they will attempt to verify the card. (Really to protect you). Once you get the new payment method accepted, you are good to go.

I planning to buy an Ipad Air for my father for Christmas, I think it could be very ideal for him to see his pictures instead of computer, great for travelling. However I'm not sure if it has SD card slot or not? It is very important to know, otherwise he cannot use it!

Images stored in iPad Camera Roll would be backed up under Auto Backup feature using My Cloud Mobile App. Also you can select images manually stored in SD card to upload manually on My Cloud. You may refer this KBA for more details:

I can transfer from camera SD card to Camera Roll and then backup to MyCloud, I use an Apple SD to Lightning adapter, which makes import to Camera Roll simple, but this hits memory limitations in iPad.

There is no easy way to copy SD card content to iPad . Since you want to transfer SD camera card contents to My Cloud you need a device that reads the cards and saves them to disk, WD makes the My Passport Wireless drives with this feature. You likely need one of these. Check the main WDC.com website and look in Products ; portable storage. I bring one on every trip I make, along with iPad/iPhone to enjoy my media collection on the mobile devices. When you get home you can easily transfer camera photos to your My Cloud.

This is not a normal SDcard reader. The USB connector is mainly just for power. It is actually a very small single board computer with a small nand flash based OS, that runs a samba server, and has a wifi interface set in AP mode.
