Hi everyone,

This list has been pretty quiet of late, but I wanted to share a note from a new member:
I am brazilian programmer and teacher, and I started teaching basic programming throught TDD this year. I watched the Youtube video and I am loving this aproach to teaching.

Alex Chaffee and I will be speaking on this topic at Golden Gate Ruby Conference in September:  http://gogaruco.com/index.html

Best,
Sarah

With about 2 weeks to go before the conference, I'm feeling like it's the right time to make a shameless request. While I'm sure Sarah and I could go on and on for hours about our personal experiences, the presentation will be much better if we can get more perspectives represented.

So, I hereby ask everyone on this list to share their experiences with test-first teaching. What was your process like? What materials did you use? What worked well? What didn't?

Also, who's going to be in the audience? (You know, in case we need a shill. :-))

Step 1.  I learned to test driven development fundamentals and basic Ruby programming.
Step 2.  Applied learned lessons in business and life.
Step 3.  Currently basking in the awesome glory of generated results.
