Has anyone managed to build this project from source recently? I don't have patience to fiddle with ancient versions of Java, Maven and some of the libraries. Instead, I just updated most of the dependencies: https://github.com/martinschneider/google-test-analytics/pull/1. It compiles but it doesn't work yet (see the comments in the link).

I'm not sure if this is a crazy idea (given that this is a project from almost a decade ago) but I don't think I'm far away from getting it to run on this newer techstack. If anyone wants to chip in, please let me know :)

Hello,

do you know if this project is still active or abandoned?

Thanks

I don't think it's actively maintained by anyone. The core idea is still useful, though, so if anyone is interested, we could revive it.

Thank you for your answer, do you know if the VAC practice is still used?
we are looking for a practice and a tool to simplify the test plan in an agile context, so at the moment I am not sure of using this tool but it really seems to give a good way to define our test plan. Thanks

To be honest, I'm not sure how widely this is used. I haven't met anyone else using it yet. Personally, I find it particularly helpful during test case discovery because it's a fast, structured way to come up with the first version of a test plan.

I suggest you try it out during one of your sprints to see how it works for you. I got it to run on an older version of Java without issues. Let me know if you need any help setting it up.
