Struggling to get comprehensive text

Hi!

I am trying to extract the text from the attached photo, but I am not really getting back much of a comprehensive text.

Any tips? I have the right language setting and turn it black and white(in the code), but still the result is anything but what I was hoping for.

Any help is appreciated!

As I know, Tesseract is built for printed text, not for handwritten text. You can try retrain the models of Tesseract, but as is suggested somewhere in the documentations, it is not likely to provide accurate result.
