Yes. Greek can be trained in tesseractocr  Please visit for details at http://code.google.com/p/tesseract-ocr/  wherein how to train has been documented.

If you are using windows, please have a look at the tool I have created to ease the training process. (created a GUI for the training process of tesseract ocr)

There is a guide for the application at http://code.google.com/p/jtesseract/wiki/QuickStartupGuide  (.NET framework should be installed in your machine for this to work)

Also it is important to be familiar with the standard tesseract-ocr training procedure mentioned in wiki: http://code.google.com/p/tesseract-ocr/wiki/TrainingTesseract
