Error whilst using viet OCR (tesseract OCR interface) on mac

Hi, 

I've got to what I hope is the final stage of my OCR operation journey ... Having uploaded my image and hit the "OCR" button on VietOCR, I am met with "could not initialize class net.sourceforge.tess4j.TessAPI". Does anyone know what this means? I know comparatively very little about computers so any help would be appreciated. It may help to know that I am using a Mac and using jar launcher to run VietOCR.

Hi Jack,

Have you installed Tesseract or compiled it on your OSX box? VietOCR requires an existing installation of Tesseract to run. Once installed, you can specify its location in VietOCR's setting.
