Exists a way to verify the image complexity before recognize?

Hi,

I have a problem when images like the attached image is submitted to Tesseract.
As I have a batch process and I don't analyse manually each image and I don't expect a good OCR results for this type of image, neither,  exists a way to obtain a complexity score before tries to recognize this? I will use this to skip the recognize process.

Actually an image like this or throw an error or freeze the machine for a long time.
