tesseract-ocr with matlab

Hi,

I am using tesseract-ocr for matlab on windows . I need to know following :

1) Tesseract using Matlab  works well with  images containing english alphabets but gives wrong results for images containing alphabets and numbers.

     How can I improve the accuracy?

2) To improve the accuracy how can i train tesseract for matlab?  I could not find much documentation for tesseract using Matlab.

3) Do I have to use PSM (page segmentation mode) for character and number recognition in tesseract for matlab ? if yes, how?

I tested on http://www.free-ocr.com/ (tha uses tesseract) and I got different ouput. Tesseract off-line

version (from google site) gives another output as well.

Anyone?

You may be better off contacting Matlab about the issue; I'm not
sure anybody here knows much about how they integrate Tesseract into
their software.

If you find any tips please do pass them on here.

i am also using it with matlab but it is not giving me results for English text .
can u tell me how u integrated Tesseract with matlab.
