is there a minimum amount of samples that is required for a training to start running?

I encountered a similar issue as this guy:

I wonder if maybe, although I was only running the training script for testing-purposes to see if it will run, 8 samples would not be sufficient, no matter how you specify the train_split attribute.

So would it help, if I maybe got more training-samples, like maybe 20 at least, to see if it will run?
