tesseract version mismatch

I have upgraded tesseract to the latest version, but I am getting this error. Can anyone help me with this?

How did you upgraded and on what system you are ?

I am on Ubuntu 16.04, I am installed the latest version from the souce code.

Apparently, there are some inconsistencies in your libraries and tesseract.

I'd recommend you to follow this link and install it from the command line:

https://github.com/tesseract-ocr/tesseract/wiki

https://launchpad.net/~alex-p/+archive/ubuntu/tesseract-ocr?field.series_filter=xenial

If you're particularly interested in compiling from scratch, you can try to check which libraries you're using:

ldd `which your.exe.here`

and see which libs they refer to. Also, you got some unknown commands, check your $PATH for that.

I think I messed up some libraries, how do i uninstall tesseract and install it again.

I have tried, sudo make uninstall from the source but it is not working.
