integrate into visual basic 6

to tesseract-ocr

has anybody sucesfully integrated into vb6?
i dont know how to do the right dll calls
im integrating it, launching tesseract command line processes, but it
is slow

You would do it via the DLL 'C' interface.

I know there are some people running out there VB with tess.

It is one of my task to get a VB.NET project in the distribution.

Look at the tessdll.h file for what the parameters are.

I'm going to bump this because few people have asked me how to do it
but I still havn't seen any public code on how to do this ....anyone
wana tackle this one?

Ocropus is using tesseractOCR. It will be more helpful if you are able to integrate the Ocropus source code into Visual Basic6. I am waiting for Windows
version of Ocropus.
