Receipt detection using Tesseract OCR

I want to use Tesseract OCR to recognize text from well-known receipt structure, I want to know is that tesseract suitable for that purpose? if yes what i the important steps or ways to improve tesseract accuracy for that purpose.

Hi there, currently im using tesseract ocr to convert receipt image to text. Tesseract is very suitable for your purpose.

There a lot of ways to improve the accuracy, you can refer to this link Improve Quality which is really really really usefull. :-)
