Tessnet and Tesseract 3.0

Has anyone tried recompiling the .Net Tessnet solution against the
Tesseract 3.0 version source?

Or is significant modification going to be required to Tessnet to take
advantage of 3.0?

Today I am working on porting an old version of tessnet2 to work with
tesseract 3.0. (Sorry this is an old version, but I have to do what
is quickest, since this is for my job.) tessnet2.vcproj has the names
of most of the tesseract source files. A number of these names are
not applicable in 3.0 and cause errors.

What I am doing is an unofficial hack since I need something quick.

It would be nice if the porting of an old version of tessnet2 to work with tesseract 3.0
works for Indic languages (utf-8)also. I am ready to assist you in beta testing and feedback
