In the Training Tesseract Wiki, the setup steps detailed are for Linux systems (https://github.com/tesseract-ocr/tesseract/wiki/TrainingTesseract-4.00). Is training not supported in Windows systems?

Its is not supported according to wiki, but you can do the linux way on windows. There is a guide about it further down in the forum
