Dear all,

I am pleased to announce the first release candidate for 5.0.0:

Please test it and report any regression in speed or accuracy compared to 4.1.1.

If you are author of a Tesseract wrapper or extension, please adjust your project

or report problems.

Contribution to the documentation are welcome.
