When I compile the official release 5.1 code with Visual Studio 2022, I get zero warnings in Debug or Release configurations but more than 20,000 when compiling with MinSizeRel.

We have so far used MinSizeRel which produces the smallest DLL. My question is whether we should drop this and go with the regular Release configuration?

I am also wondering whether something, hopefully simple, is missing from the MinSizeRel configuration.

Thanks for any insights, suggestions.

Hello,

There have been experiences that different optimization flags could affect OCR results. So basically we are focused on Release configurations as there is not enough capacity to do tests and investigations about various options and its combinations.

Feel free to make your own experiments and share your experience.
