New to the community

Greetings All,

I'm new to the community however I have been using Tesseract for a while and I am curious to learn more about its development and contribution.

I would like to develop a language model so as to get a whole community developed around it in my respective area.

The other hope would be to learn how it works to use it in projects for one in the future, but I hope to get involved in future of project.

On that note I hope to hear for anyone who would be interested in guiding new devs on the project.

Tesseract development is currently done by volunteers, and any contribution might be helpful for the Tesseract user community.

New developers can look for open issues (github.com/tesseract-ocr/tesseract/issues/) and try to solve them either by working on the C++ code or by improving the existing documentation. Or they can improve the recognition models or train new ones. Start with reading the documentation (https://tesseract-ocr.github.io/tessdoc/).
