How to Use tesseract OCR in Asp.Net C#

Hello

i am a new to Asp.net and C# development and i want to create a program that takes image and then read text from the image and show text to user. I want to use tesseract OCR, i have downloaded all the files from tesseract OCR project and tesseractdotnet Project but none of them is working fine. All have some errors or issues.

i am using Visual Studio 2012 with Dot net Frame work 4.5

Can any body please tell me step by step guide on how can i read text from images in C# Asp.net using Tesseract OCR.

This forum is dedicated to tesseract development. Please use tesseract user forum for question about how to use tesseract.

If you plan to use .NET have a look at .Net wrapper for tesseract-ocr[1] - it is active project.

thanks for your reply. I tried this Wrapper

But i am not getting on how to use this. when i download and open a project in VS and build it it shows me a  lot of errors for File or Assembly not found.

Please tell me how  can i sue this.

Contact author(s) of .NET wrapper f you have problem with it.

Well, that isn't exactly a solution to using Tesseract OCR with C#
or Asp.net; it uses the Cuneiform engine underneath, which is
completely different.

But regardless, I'm glad you've found some free software that works
for you :)
