"When I heard the samples from the Deep Premium Pack II back in the day I was instantly hooked and knew I have never heard better sounding and better fitting drum samples for the sound I wanted to do, but could not quite get together. After I bought the first samples I fell in love with some synth presets, before I took all classes on sound design to make my own sounds. In the meantime we started cooperating and I have access to all sounds and samples (which is great), but I also contribute a lot of templates and samples myself. I am very happy for the opportunity to present my sounds to the big PML community and hope everybody out there now feel about my packs how I once felt."
Orchestral Tools and PML teamed up with 5 of their favourite contemporary producers, gave them full access to all available OT sample libraries and let them all create tonal & atonal percussion loops, atmospheres, melodic / harmonic themes and a lot more.
The result is the probably most inspiring pack PML ever released. From beautifully crafted tonal wood loops, to atmo string layers and atonal organic percussions - Acoustic Melodic Techno Themes is loaded with sounds you instantly want to work with!
The challenge, but also the potential of this pack for every producer lay in the clear focus of who this pack is for: Melodic House & Techno Producers! Fans & customers of Orchestral Tools usually produce film/score music - so they need high quality playable instruments to play their scores.

This example demonstrates how to do modern transcription of Gregorianmusic. Gregorian music has no measure, no stems; it uses only half andquarter note heads, and special marks, indicating rests of differentlength.
This template shows one way of setting out an Anglican psalm chant. Italso shows how the verses may be added as stand-alone text under themusic. The two verses are coded in different styles to demonstratemore possibilities.
This is quite an advanced template, for a jazz ensemble. Note that allinstruments are notated in \key c \major. This refers to thekey in concert pitch; the key will be automatically transposed if themusic is within a \transpose section.
This template demonstrates the use of nested StaffGroup andGrandStaff contexts to sub-group instruments of the same typetogether, and a way to use \transpose so that variables holdmusic for transposing instruments at concert pitch.
- The tabulator staff for diatonic accordions shows the geographicposition of the buttons and not (as for every other instrument) thepitch of the notes; the keys on the melody-side of the accordion areplaced in three columns and about 12 rows
In the tabulator staff notation the outermost column is described withnotes between lines, the innermost column is described with notesbetween lines and a cross as accidental, and the middle column isdescribed with notes on a line, whereby the row in the middle isrepresented on the middle line in the staff.
1. Every diatonic accordion is built for some keys only (for example, for the keys of C major and F major), so it is important to transpose apiano melody to match one of these keys. Transpose the source code, notonly the output because this code is required later on to translate itonce more to the tabulator staff. This can be done with the commanddisplayLilyMusic.
2. You have to alternate the push- and pull-direction of the accordionregularly. If the player has a too long part to pull the accordion getsbroken. On the other hand, some harmonies are only available in onedirection. Considering this, decide which parts of the melody are thepush-parts and which the pull-parts.
This small template demonstrates a simple melody with lyrics. Cut andpaste, add notes, then words for the lyrics. This example turns offautomatic beaming, which is common for vocal parts. To use automaticbeaming, change or comment out the relevant line.
This template creates a score which starts with a solo verse andcontinues into a refrain for two voices. It also demonstrates the useof spacer rests within the \global variable to define meterchanges (and other elements common to all parts) throughout the entirescore.

Ableton Live is one of the most popular DAWs and there are lots of tutorials and how-to's out there. But templates can give you a deeper understanding of every aspect of music production, from sound design and arrangement to mixing and mastering.
For example, you can see how each sound is produced, from synth preset to layering and additional processing. You can hear each track in isolation and get your hands on its processing so you'll better understand why it sounds the way it does in the mix.
Lots of our customers use our templates as a starting point and get their tracks released by top music labels like Ultra, Spinnin', Subliminal, and many more. Rather than starting from scratch each time you make a track, you can start with a clean mix and complete arrangement. Our templates allow you to focus on the creative side of music production without worrying about mixing, mastering, sound processing, and structure. This makes music production faster, easier, more creative and helps you to overcome creative blocks.
