The mysterious box (sitting on the front seat off to one side of Tesla while driving his EV conversion of a 1931 Pierce-Arrow) may have contained nothing more than a bank of capacitors precharged at Tesla's hotel room the night before to provide adequate voltage for the motor's need for developing torque (to move the four thousand pound Pierce-Arrow around) while some other circuitry under the hood provided the secondary voltage source intended to be drained into current (since current provides speed -- why waste voltage on both current usage and voltage needs when voltage can be conservedly reused? -- the parametric oscillations of Eric Dollard's LMD analog computer can provide the secondary voltage source intended to be drained for speed). The purchase of radio tubes and wire the day before may have been a charade to throw off Savo (or whatever his supposed cousin's name was since Tesla knew he had no cousin). Savo was just hanging around to see what he could steal and Tesla tolerated him to a point.
It's so commonplace to not believe a word anyone says if only one lie is given by that person. But what if segments of Savo's story are true?

Super circuit : which switch did Nikola Tesla operate with ?
P.S; about corporation future will be more like cooperative without the notion of profit

While engaging the clutch, he may have merely used the foot pedal (what we call the accelerator pedal) as either an ON / OFF switch, or TOGGLE switch, or a variable capacitor are my candidates for possibilities.
