Why is this turning into Craigslist?

I started flagging these as spam and sometimes blocking.  A couple times replied with 'go away spammer' which doesn't even gratify me and probably does nothing at the sending end.

If there are any moderators left, they should set the initial / new member posting off.  Old members; put them on moderation

I'm apparently a group 'manager', I don't know if that's the same as a 'moderator'. But I did change the setting for new members so that their posts are subject to automatic moderation. And I deleted this guy's messages as well. We'll see if that changes anything.

Dan,

Hopefully up can select all of the spam on the list at https://groups.google.com/g/tesla-owners-of-nj and delete them.

thought you might be.  Were you the one some mysterious original 'manager' promoted a couple years back now when we were having some issues?  (just testing how well my brain is working).

This thread was meant for technical questions relating to our cars. Like this one:
After installing Spotify on our HW4 Model Y, the voice command to play a song doesn't work. So if I say, "Play Born To Run", we just get a message that says "media resumed", whatever song was playing just continues.
I have done a double scroll wheel reboot several times but it doesn't fix it. Very frustrating.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Tom, did you mean SiriusXM instead of Spotify? I don't think you have to 'install' Spotify....

(Removed the stupid spam title).

Bill, not sure.... I think I might have reached out to the mods about a message one time and they asked if I'd like to help with the group....

Thanks Dan. I should have been more clear, but it was after we subscribed to a premium account on Spotify and logged in. That's when the voice commands for music stopped working. All other voice commands are fine.
But the voice commands for music work fine in my S.
Odd.

I don’t think I’ve ever used voice commands with the audio system. I’ll have to try it and let you know what happens. I also have Spotify Premium so should be apples to apples.

So I tried it in my car and it works, although it played the BTR album not the specific song... But that's all I'm doing with the car today as I found a nail in my tire....
