NJ E-ZPass Green pass discount extended 5 years

fyi, the NJ E-ZPass Green Pass discount program that was set to expire Nov 30th, 2013, has been extended for another 5 years ;) The new expiration date for the Green Pass discount is November 30, 2018.

Thanks Dennis.  I didn't bother ordering one a week ago when I saw the program ended in November.   

So what are most people getting, the windshield mount or the one that gets installed behind the nose cone?

I have two - the NJ Green pass and the NY/NJ Port Authority green pass.  I tag/bag swap so I can get the NJ discount on the turnpike and the Port Authority green pass discount on the lincoln tunnel toll.  so I dont have mine mounted anywhere, I just hold it up above the mirror.

I had problems until the cone mounted one was installed...  License plate version, not green pass.

Same here.

Just be sure to look at your bills so you aren't double billed in case the tag doesn't read.

I mounted the "behind the cone" ez pass myself, and have had 0 problems. Works in all NJ, NY, PA and CT applications.

I have my NY EZpass directly under the rear view mirror and have had no problems in NY, NJ, PA or MA

The website says to apply for the green pass by submitting a request in writing.  Did you guys actually mail a letter in an envelope to the Newark E-ZPass office.  

Mailing a letter to a government organization just seem like an exercise in futility (Except the IRS.  They never have trouble processing my mail).
