Hi

I'm going into Manhattan on Sunday, Washington Heights W 181st street near Ft Washington Ave.  Can anyone recommend a decent parking lot in the area?

Hi Ira,

I go up there often, always park on the street.  It can be tough but I always find a spot. Don’t know the garage situation.

Understood.  That can happen anywhere, including the “posh” ues.  A garage is always safer, break-ins are random, probably more likely with a high-end car like a tesla.

It can really happen anywhere. I usually street park in the west village (once or twice a week) and have never had any issues but anything can happen….

If you do street park, park on a busier well-lit street and make sure you turn on sentry mode.

FYI - So I parked in Manhattan on Sunday at the West 184th Street & Broadway Parking Garage.  I see reviews are mixed  but I thought they were good and the price was reasonable for the city.
