Tonight's Meeting & Future Meetings

Hey all,

Thanks to those of you who made it tonight. Sonia had an awesome presentation on social entrepreneurship and we did a cool "silent conversation" activity that I think could be cool and useful to incorporate into our other meetings when applicable.

A few of us stayed after to talk about our recent meeting attendance issue and ways we could remedy this. While this week and last week are generally not highly attended meetings due to midterms, I think we should still pay attention to potentially waning interest in what we are providing our members. We have all had this conversation before so no need to repeat it here but here are a couple action items that we think everyone should do for the next exec board meeting this Monday.

1.  Each person should contact 1 person who can potentially come in to speak to the group either in the coming weeks or next semester if that is too short notice.
2. Each person should come to the meeting with 1 actionable way to improve our weekly meetings. Be prepared to be the one to take the lead on the idea if we all agree it should be implemented.

We figured these are very easy ways to greatly improve our meetings so please come prepared to the next meeting!
