Nuwa app has supported DXF basemap import and display since version 2.1.0.5. Before version 2.1.0.5, Nuwa only supports reading point data in DXF files and importing them into the point library (Import -> Other import -> DXF). Moreover, now besides point data, line, text and other content in the DXF file will be displayed in the survey or stakeout interface, just like in AutoCAD, worked as a reference for auxiliary surveys.

Place the DXF file in the TersusSurvey\Maps folder. Open Nuwa, please confirm that the coordinate system is set correctly. Since the coordinates recorded in the DXF file are NEh coordinates, the software will automatically calculate Latitude Longitude Height coordinates according to the coordinate system of the current project. Connect the Tersus GNSS receiver, enter the Survey or Stakeout interface, click the map icon on the upper right, as shown in the figure below, and then check DXF map.

The software will automatically read out the DXF files in the Maps folder and display them in the file list, check the DXF basemap files you expect to display, as shown in the figure below.

Back to the main interface of Survey or Stakeout, you can see that the DXF graphics have been displayed in the interface, just like in AutoCAD. And the correct display of the DXF basemap in Survey or Stakeout can be used as reference for auxiliary measurement.

If you click a point on the DXF basemap, the software will pop up asking whether to add the selected point to the staking point library, that is to say Nuwa app currently also supports selecting the point on the DXF for stakeout. If you get a design drawing in DXF format and need to mark the location of each point on the design drawing, you can use this method to complete your work.

While displaying the DXF basemap, online maps and online satellite maps can also be displayed. The combined display of the two maps will be more intuitive.
