UGA Startups Next Thursday, August 27.  

Join us next Thursday from 6-8pm for a special UGA Startups event at the Terry Executive Center in Buckhead.  UGA's Terry Entrepreneurship joins forces with Gwinnett-based Entrepreneurs Lounge to bring you special guests Kenneth Washington and Nancy Lewis.  Kenneth’s entrepreneurial ventures include a Shell Food Mart C-Store, a logistics/ transportation company, Italian and Thai restaurants and staffing agencies focused on both industrial and communications clients.  In total, Kenneth’s companies currently employ over 200 individuals across multiple states and are continuing to grow at a record pace current economic conditions.  Kenneth will share his experiences as a successful serial entrepreneur and plans to dispel the myth that entrepreneurship is more risky than traditional employment.  

Nancy is a leading motivational/inspirational keynote speaker, trainer, author, and registered corporate coach.  She is the president of Progressive Techniques, Inc. based in Fayettesville, GA.  She will provide tips to develop effective networking skills and lead into an opportunity to network with fellow attendees at 8pm.
