I am trying to use the photo shuttle for the first time. I have finished the hardware setup (2 cables, paper tray). I have completed the software setup. I am trying to print my first photo. I moved a picture into the printer queue. I want to click the print queue button, but the button is grayed out. How do I activate the print queue button?

You do understand that the printer queue is located horizontally at the bottom of the main photodesiree window, right? As soon as you move one photo setup into that bottom window, the printer icon should activate. If it doesn't then you have a problem (like you need me to tell you that!).

It sounds like the printer isn't really installed on your system (software wise). Check and see if the HiTi is listed as one of your system's printers. Chances are it won't be. Make sure the printer is either off or disconnected and try re-installing the printer sofware again (not the Photodesiree program, but the printer drivers themselves). Visit HiTouch's website and download the latest drivers (especially if you have Windoze XP). Install the drivers with the printer turned off. Reboot and turn on the printer and let Windows find new hardware and install the printer. Check in the printers and faxes area and make sure the HiTi is listed there.

You didn't say what OS you were using. I am using XP home on both my PC and laptop. In fact, I have a wireless 802.11b network set up and can print to all three of my printers (HP DJ960C, HP LJ1200, and the Hiti 630PS) from the laptop over the wireless network.

I have a great photo of 5 kids dressed up in all types of colorful clothes (thomas the tank train engineer, ballerina, princess, kimono, buzz lightyear) and the photo is fabulous. The colors in the photo (colors of the dress up clothes) include blue, red, gold, pink, yellow, purple, green and white. The photo just turns me on! I love how nicely the the kids and colors appear. The photo is crisp. If my kids get fingerprints on it, I can just wipe them off. Makes me a happy mom!
