PRICE DATABASECotton prices have continued today surging in China where they have gained 19% in a few weeks.
Cotton yarn prices have further jumped today in China, being boosted by the higher cotton prices.
Viscose is still following the same way, but other fiber prices look more stable so far.

Viscose Staple Fiber and Filament Prices in China (Weekly Report)
21 July 2016 - Viscose prices have further surged in the last week in China, as a clear sign that demand for fibers is rising ahead of a seasonal rebound of textile production. Our weekly report covers the viscose/rayon staple fiber and filament markets over the last 12 months. Viscose spun yarn prices are also available. Cotton linter, cotton pulp and wood pulp prices on domestic and import markets are being tracked over the last 12 months, in addition.

E.U. Clothing Imports: Latest and Long-Term Trends (Monthly Report)
21 July 2016 - EU clothing imports have continued rebounding in May for the second consecutive month thanks to a fall of unit prices, in both euro and dollar terms. Imports from China have experienced a double-digit growth from a year earlier. Our report covers monthly EU clothing import data, with historical trends being analyzed over last 15 years, and a specific focus on China vs Rest of World (RoW) and on knit vs woven clothing. Data are supplied in euro and in US dollars.

China Textile & Clothing Production Costs (Country Report)
21 July 2016 - Production costs are less clearly declining in the textile industry in China whereas they are more sharply rising in the clothing industry, as a clear sign that the deflation period could soon be over in the leading manufacturing country. This is mostly due to an overall rise of commodities and other inputs since the start of the year. This statistical report offers a comprehensive view of production costs and consumer prices in China, including in textile and clothing sectors. Labor costs in major provinces are also being followed.

PRICE DATABASECotton prices have stopped rising this Monday on the domestic market in China whereas even retreating on the futures market.
Yarn prices have however further increased on the Qianqing market at the same time.

Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)
25 July 2016 - Cotton prices have begun retreating back to lower levels on the international market, however benefiting from a strong support, due to a continuous lack of supply. Demand could be negatively affected, after yarn prices have been sharply raised in the last weeks and stocks have been replenished. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India and Pakistan are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.

Polyester Chain Prices: PX, PTA, MEG and Fiber Prices (Weekly Report)
25 July 2016 - Crude oil prices may have further declined, polyester intermediate prices are currently resisting, thanks to a strong demand from polyester producers after cotton prices have surged. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono-ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. Asian Contract Prices (ACPs) are also available for the PX, PTA and MEG markets in Asia, with 5-year charts and downloadable historical data.
