16 February 2015 - Cotton prices have further risen in the last week on the international market, over large sales to China. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and physical indicator "A Index". Polyester Intermediate Prices: PTA and MEG in Asia (Weekly Report)
16 February 2015 - Polyester chain prices have further increased in the last week in Asia, although Chinese new year holidays were looming, as a clear sign the market is experiencing reversed trends. US Apparel Imports in 4th Quarter and Full 2014: Categories (Statistical Report)
17 February 2015 - The shift from cotton to man-made fiber US apparel import categories has continued unabated in full last year, as revealed by just released official data, with an increasing gender gap between men/boys and women/girls products. Key categories have also experienced radical changes on the US apparel import market, like sweaters, suits, skirts and dresses. India Yarn Prices: Domestic and Export Markets (Weekly Report)
18 February 2015 - Yarn prices have begun clearly declining in the last seven days on India's domestic markets, with export prices again sliding at the same time. Our comprehensive review of Indian yarn markets covers the domestic markets in Ludhiana (Punjab), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra), Bhilwari (Rajasthan) and Indore (Madhya Pradesh) markets, with a wide range of products, including cotton yarns (carded and combed), polyester spun, polyester-cotton, polyester-viscose and polyester-acrylic. Inflation in Low-Cost Countries (Monthly Report)
24 February 2015 - As reflected by our January inflation data, a series of Asian countries including India, Indonesia and Bangladesh are now accepting a stronger rise of their consumer prices than experienced in rival China and Vietnam where inflation has disappeared. Our monthly report offers a comparison of inflation rates in low-cost countries, with historical data available back to June 2007. Impact of currency changes is calculated to assess real consequences for exports of higher or lower inflation rates.
EU Clothing Imports in 2014: Categories (Quarterly Report)
24 February 2015 - Clothing imports into the European Union moved to different directions in full 2014, depending on product categories. Unit prices have stopped falling, as a sign that market trends were already deteriorating in last year, as reflected by our report. Statistical tables are published with volume, value and unit value changes in euro and US$ terms, covering 4-digit categories of 61 and 62 HS chapters (knit and woven clothing). Polyester Fiber and Filament Yarn Prices in China (Weekly Report)
25 February 2015 - Polyester prices were flat or very slightly rising in the first trading day after after holidays in China. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) and Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) prices on the domestic market, including a price comparison with cotton and viscose. The gross margin of polyester spun yarn producers is also released.

Stocks however surged over the full last year, as reflected by latest official data. Our comprehensive review of Indian yarn markets covers the domestic markets in Ludhiana (Punjab), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra), Bhilwari (Rajasthan) and Indore (Madhya Pradesh) markets, with a wide range of products, including cotton yarns (carded and combed), polyester spun, polyester-cotton, polyester-viscose and polyester-acrylic. Export market prices are also available for both cotton and polyester-cotton.
China is now slowly returning to work and our price database has been fully updated in order to take account of first trends on the markets.
PTA futures were this morning down in China whereas physical markets were moving into different directions.
