Polyester Intermediate Prices: PTA and MEG in Asia (Weekly Report)
30 March 2015 - Polyester chain prices did not follow the short-lived rebound in crude oil prices last week. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain, including Paraxylene (PX), PTA, MEG, polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. Asian Contract Prices (ACPs) are also available for the PX, PTA and MEG markets in Asia, with 5-year charts and downloadable historical data.

Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)
30 March 2015 - Cotton prices have risen to a new level on the international market, and more importantly in Pakistan and India, while remaining unchanged in China. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India and Pakistan are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. Price data are systematically compared while latest trends being analysed. China Yarn Prices: Domestic and Import Markets (Weekly Report)
31 March 2015 - Yarn prices have been stuck at unchanged levels for the last two months on China's domestic and import markets, actually hiding in-depth market trends. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends. Historical data are available for download.

Mohair Fiber Prices in South Africa (Statistical Report)  New!
31 March 2015 - Mohair prices have further surged in the last months if considering average market indicators. Finest micron categories have however experienced a fall in US$ prices in South Africa, by far the largest supplier of mohair fibers, which are sheared from angora goats. Our new quarterly report covers the different market categories in South Africa, including, kid, young, adults. Historical data back to the past eight years are available for download, including all sales by Cape Mohair.

Polyester Fiber and Filament Yarn Prices in China (Weekly Report)
1 April 2015 - Polyester prices have further declined in the last days in China, in line with a new fall of petrochemical prices. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) and Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) prices on the domestic market, including a price comparison with cotton and viscose. The gross margin of polyester spun yarn producers is also released.


India Yarn Prices: Domestic and Export Markets (Weekly Report)
1 April 2015 - Cotton yarn prices are now clearly rising on India's domestic and export markets, as a result of a rebound of cotton fiber prices. Our comprehensive review of Indian yarn markets covers the domestic markets in Ludhiana (Punjab), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra), Bhilwari (Rajasthan) and Indore (Madhya Pradesh), with a wide range of products and counts, including cotton yarns (carded and combed), polyester spun, polyester-cotton, polyester-viscose and polyester-acrylic. Export market prices are also available for both cotton and polyester-cotton.


Currency Trends in Low-Cost Countries (Monthly Report)
1 April 2015 - The US dollar could stay very firm against the euro in coming months, resulting in strong difficulties for low-cost exports to the eurozone. The dramatic fall of the lira could however favor Turkish exporters whereas Chinese apparel exports would be negatively affected by a new rise of the renminbi. Our monthly statistical report displays a comprehensive view of currency values against the US dollar but also v. the euro, the British pound, the Indian and Pak rupees, and the Chinese renminbi.

Viscose Staple Fiber and Filament Prices in China (Weekly Report)
2 April 2015 - Viscose prices are now more clearly bottoming out in China, amid low inventory levels and tight supply.
