27 April 2015 - Polyester intermediate prices have been boosted by a blast at a Sinopec's plant in China, in addition to the continuous rebound of crude oil prices. 28 April 2015 - China's apparel exports continued rising in 2014, although at a lower pace than in previous year, mostly due to falling shipments to Japan. Our report provides a comprehensive view of China's apparel export data in full 2014, per major destination and per category of products over the last 5 to 10 years. US and EU clothing imports from China per product category in full 2014 are also available. Variations have been calculated in volume, value and unit value terms. All data can be easily downloaded through our csv files.
China Yarn Prices: Domestic and Import Markets (Weekly Report)
28 April 2015 - Spun polyester yarn prices have been significantly increased by spinners in China, after polyester fiber prices surged in the last two weeks. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends. Historical data are available for download.

China's share of the market is eventually declining, in line with a surge of shipments from a series of low-cost countries, and primarily from Vietnam.
