7 April 2015 - Spun yarn prices have remained very stable in the last seven days on China's domestic and import markets. The rise of viscose and polyester fiber prices could however result in new market trends. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends. Historical data are available for download.

Polyester Fiber and Filament Yarn Prices in China (Weekly Report)
8 April 2015 - Polyester prices have suddenly rebounded in the last two days in China, after having previously failed in bottoming out in the post-holiday period. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) and Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) prices on the domestic market, including a price comparison with cotton and viscose. The gross margin of polyester spun yarn producers is also released.
India Yarn Prices: Domestic and Export Markets (Weekly Report)
8 April 2015 - Spun yarn prices could now recover in India, in line with a rebound of cotton prices. Yarn exports would again rise to China, by far the largest market of Indian spinners. Our comprehensive review of Indian yarn markets covers the domestic markets in Ludhiana (Punjab), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra), Bhilwari (Rajasthan) and Indore (Madhya Pradesh), with a wide range of products and counts, including cotton yarns (carded and combed), polyester spun, polyester-cotton, polyester-viscose and polyester-acrylic. 9 April 2015 - Polyester fiber and spun yarn prices have increased in March in China and India while remaining more stable in Pakistan. Spinners may however find it difficult to follow an increasingly volatile polyester market. Our monthly report compares polyester staple fiber and polyester spun yarn prices in China, India and Pakistan, in both local currency terms and US$ terms. Gross margins of spinners are also calculated on a monthly basis. Historical data back to 2007 are available for download.
Nylon/Polyamide and Caprolactam Market Prices in China (Monthly Report)
9 April 2015 - Nylon 6 prices further rose in the last weeks in China, over a sharp increase of caprolactam prices. Our monthly report covers the latest trends of nylon (polyamide) 6 prices, also offering a detailed view of the caprolactam (CPL) prices in China.
