3D Tile supportsSplitting

Hello TerriaJS team.

I would like to know if it is possible to place a Cesium 3D Tile in an area of the map (left or right). I have been checking and this type of Item does not support "supportsSplitting".

In NSW application https://nsw.digitaltwin.terria.io/ supports this type of function in the terrain.

Any ideas how I can achieve this?

It would be very interesting to place the same 3D Tile on different dates (one on the left and one on the right) and to be able to use the same comparison tools.

Hi Moises,

Unfortunately Cesium doesn't support this particular feature yet. We have discussed it with Cesium already and it sounds like it wouldn't be very hard to add, and we're considering doing that.

Thanks Mats, this functionality would be great. Today we evaluate the TerriaJS 8 version, and you can now compare Terrain using the split tool, it is a step forward.
