The semester's half gone already, and there have been no events for
the club at all, so I'm sorry for that. But I have good news. We
have Alex Epstein from the Ayn Rand Institute coming out to give a
FREE lecture in just a few weeks.
SPEAKER

The Monopoly Myth: The Case of Standard Oil
8pm, Thursday, April 2nd
Banneker Room, Stamp Student Union
In this speech, Mr. Epstein will make a *moral* case for capitalism,
which is exactly what we need in today's economic climate.
PARTY!
I'm also planning to throw a "meet the club" party to attract new
members and let everyone get to know each other again. This will
probably happen next week sometime, so keep an eye out for the next
email with more details.
THE UNDERCURRENT
The undercurrent (the-undercurrent.com) is an Objectivist-slanted
print publication which is distributed on campuses across America. We
have 250 copies of the latest issue, and I'm looking for people who'd
like to help distribute them, either by handing them out in the union
at lunchtime or dropping them off at different buildings on your way
to class. This is a great way to spark debate around campus and get
people thinking about the Objectivist viewpoint. I'll send another
email about this soon, but get in touch if you're interested in
spending an afternoon with me being an activist.
NEW PREZ
If you've read this far, you're probably a great candidate to be our
next president. I'm graduating in 2 short months, and we need an
enthusiastic, aspiring intellectual to run this joint. Send me an
email if you're interested in keeping this club alive and making it
into something really great on campus.
