Hi Terp Objectivists,

Last week's meeting was another small and successful discussion!  Next Tuesday (December 1st) we'll be discussing the first essay in Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal.  There are two copies on McKeldin's shelves at the moment, call # HB501.R25, or you may be able to find either the essay or just a summary/review online.  I'll be asking ARI about getting copies of the book for our members this week, so look out for more news on that :)

We hope you join us at our next meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 1st at 7:30pm!   I'll send out a reminder email one day before the meeting.

A member of the Leadership Institute, a conservative organization, has sent an open invitation to all our members for a free training session at the end of next week.  The message is below.  If you're interested please contact Leigha Caron at LCa...@campusreform.org

Thanks! See you soon,

Emily

A message from Leigha Caron of the Leadership Institute:

The Leadership Institute is holding our trademark school called the Youth Leadership School here in Arlington on December 5 and 6.

Since 1979, The Leadership Institute has trained over 76,000 conservatives with the political technology it takes to win elections and advance conservative ideals.

The YLS is a two-day, intense training session that teaches conservatives how to organize both on campus and in the field. Karl Rove is a graduate from one of our YLS trainings.

The training normally costs $30 to attend, but since you are located not far from us, you and anyone else in your group may attend for FREE! All meals and lodging will be provided for during training. We have various college students attending from the Virginia, DC metro areas, so this is going to be a great networking opportunity as well.
